Nordic Junior Championships 2025

Espoonlahti, Finland 28.-30.11.2025

We are looking forward to welcoming you to the Nordic Championship Water Polo Tournament for youth teams in Espoo. You can find important information regarding the tournament below.

ESPOONLAHTI SWIMMING POOL

The address for Espoonlahti swimming pool is Espoonlahdenkuja 4, 02320 Espoo. In case you use metro for arriving, exit from the side of yellow lights at the Espoonlahti metro platform and follow the escalators to go up and out from the mall. After that, go left and straight and you will find the pool J

The Espoonlahti swimming pool is fully booked only for the tournament, from 15:00 on Friday 28th of November to 13:00 on Sunday 30th of November. There will always be personnelstaff to let the teams and fans in if the door is locked. The teams will get bracelets for the changing room lockers. Please make sure that the team returns all the bracelets when the tournament has ended. NOTE! The spectator stands and pool area are not for changing.

You can access the 50-meter competition pool either through the locker rooms or the spectator stand. The pool is divided into two parts with a wall in the middle. For the tournament, the game field is the 25-meter pool furthest from the locker room side, and the slightly shorter side closest to locker rooms is the warm up pool.

TEAM ROSTERS

Each team can have up to 15 players assigned to their tournament roster, but only 14 players can participate in any given match. If the team roster consists of more than 14 players, the team officials should submit 14 players for each match at least 30 minutes before the game begins, at the official table (by crossing out one name from the game sheet). All players should have been assigned a cap number in advance of the tournament (1-15) and keep the same number throughout the tournament (see tournament regulations document).
